When did you first hear about Arkaik Clothing?
We have known Alex (Arkaik's creative director) for several years from working with him and his graphic design company ,October [www.octoberpromotional.com]. So, we've known about it as long as he has been a part of it!

What do you like about Arkaik?
I like that you offer a wide range of consistently professional products. I can always count on a high quality shirt with a unique and intriguing design.

Favorite Arkaik item (if any)?
I really love all the Arkaik gear I have, but it has to be between the baseball tee or hoodie! Both are super fresh and comfortable.

Just to clear up any confusion. How do you pronounce your band's name?
There's plenty of confusion about that..."ih-gee-un".

Where did the name come from?
In Greek mythology, Aegaeon is the name of a fifty-headed, one hundred armed giant that helped defeat the titans and became a guardian of the gates of Tartarus. It just felt right.

Aegaeon is a great opportunity for all of us to make a difference. Our mission is to work hard in the studio and have fun on the road, to make a difference in any way we can to anyone in the world.

What makes Aegaeon stand out amongst other metal acts?
We aren't attempting to do what's trending, just focusing on developing a distinctive and creative element. We're only riding out our first full length now though, so to stand out on a larger scale will take a lot more time and effort.

You've been on tour with some big names in metal. How has that been?
We really can't get enough of touring! It's especially cool to tour with bands you've been listening to in your personal life for quite some time prior. It really is a dream come true for all of us to be able to get out there and spread our music and meet all the people we have met; We plan to continue doing it for a long time to come.

You're all obviously very talented at what you do. What advice can you offer young musicians looking to improve musically?
Thank you very much for the kind words! Advice...Do not emulate others, and only follow the rules when you have to. The idea has to be yours in order for you to truly feel inspired.

Touring in the northeast in the spring, releasing a new album in the summer, and witnessing the apocalypse in the winter!
